Meet Joanna
I always had a passion for food. Ever since I was a little girl, I watched my mom and my grandma in the kitchen. Then I started experimenting with my ingredients and created my own spins on traditional family recipes. Soon enough, polish food wasn’t enough for a challenge so I ventured out of my comfort zone and started cooking things that you wouldn’t necessarily find on the average Polish table. Then came the baking, and the rest is history.
Festivals, Markets, & Web Store
With the help of my husband and other family members, we've been able to expand from just our event catering and farmers markets to large outdoor festivals, too. We're continuing to expand our online store so that we can offer even more products with convenient home delivery.
I came to the United States in 2002. My journey began with the least glamorous jobs but the kind that teach one hard work & perseverance. I’m currently a proud owner of Delicja Inc; we specialize in European style pastries and dishes. Some of our delicious creations include traditional kolaczki, paczki, pierogi and potato pancakes. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to share my food creations with people. We all have our own everyday troubles and if I can make one person just a tad happier by serving them with the best food I can create, my job is done.
